Future Development

This Metro design is fairly modular, and lines can be adjusted and added depending on future population growth and business development within the city.

North – Lines can be added to better connect the north, for example, by adding a service from St Andrews to Abbeywood, will help connect services for people in those areas to the north without the need for coming all the way into the city, just to get a train north again. Bradley Stoke could be connected, and the new Zoo. Thornbury could be re-connected. Even Almondsbury.

East and South East – Willsbridge, Bitton, the western Suburbs of Bath, Chippenham, even Frome and Radstock to really connect the city to the provinces.

South and West – Clevedon, even Burnham on Sea could be connected in the future. Making travelling to the coast that much easier for everybody in Bristol and the surrounding towns, and at the same time, giving people living in these towns, easy access to Bristol and the surrounding areas.
